Motor # 100 "Short Block"
CycleX standard weight crankshaft:
Larger/relieved connecting rod oil holes.
Micro polished journals and balanced to perfection.
Resized con-rod big ends with 77-78 F rod bolts.
New rod bearings sized to the crankshaft.
Line lapped engine cases and main bearings sized to the crankshaft.
New Cryo treated primary chains and Honda OEM primary chain tensioner.
New Cryo treated Tsubaki cam chain.
Refurbished, rebuilt chain wheel and balanced perfectly.
Inspected, glass beaded and refurbished transmission with new clips and bearings
Refurbished out-put shaft with new bearings and rear chain oil block-off installed.
Soda blasted engine cases and painted with ceramic high temperature paint (close to Honda silver)
Note:
For chain alignment purposes .... this motor is considered 1976 & under.

Motor # 200 "Short Block"
Same as above Motor # 100, but with the following differences:
This version has our "highest level" Cryo primary chains
Inspected, refurbished oil pump using our rebuild kit.
Inspected and refurbished starter motor.
Late model alternator with starter mechanism installed.
Shifter linkage installed.
Preferred 1976 out-put shaft with double row bearing.

Motor # 300 "Short Block"
This motor is a late Honda CB750 (77-78).

Labor:
Disassemble, clean, inspect, remove cylinder studs, soda blast and clean again.

Line lap the engine cases:
 Description on this machine shop procedure on the machine shop page.  Clean again.

Lightened crankshaft:
The crankshaft started off as a APE lightened crankshaft. (21 pounds) The sludge traps (blind oil holes) were cleaned. The oil holes were relieved and the rod and main journals were micro polished. The crankshaft was rebalanced to within .5 grams from the center line.

Connecting rods:
Cryogenically treated heavy duty R.P.E connecting rods. (328 grams each) The connecting rods and case main bearings were fitted with race proven dry film coated bearings (greens).

Transmission:
The transmission is stock and in perfect condition. It has been disassembled and reassembled with new clips and new transmission bearings throughout.

Chain wheel:
The motor also was fitted with a rebuilt, reconditioned chain wheel with new bearings and rubber cush drive rubbers.

Chains:
The OEM Honda primary chains (RK) were cryogenically treated to add approx four times the longevity. The super rare Tsubaki flat side plated chains are the choice of many top engine builders worldwide. To make the Tsubaki chains even better, they have been cryogenically treated too.
Honda OEM primary tensioner is installed.

Misc. "O" rings, oil seals, knock pins and hardware were included.

Motor # 400 "Short Block"

This motor is a late Honda CB750 (77-78).
Labor:
Disassemble, clean, inspect, remove cylinder studs, soda blast, clean again and paint with ceramic heat proof gloss black paint.

Line lap the engine cases:
 Description on this machine shop procedure on the machine shop page.  Clean again.

Stock weight Cycle X crankshaft:
The crankshaft started off as a low mile nearly perfect crankshaft. The sludge traps (blind oil holes) were cleaned. The oil holes were relieved (cupped) with  the rod and main journals were micro polished. The crankshaft was rebalanced to within .5 grams from the center line.

Note: All of our crankshafts are balanced within .5 grams from the center line.

Connecting rods:
The stock connecting rods were inspected, measured and fitted with new F2 connecting rods bolts.

Rod and main crankshaft bearings:
Green rod bearings. (OEM Honda)
Green main crankcase bearings. (OEM Honda)
 
Transmission:
The transmission is stock and in perfect condition. It has been disassembled and reassembled with new clips and new transmission bearings throughout.

Chain wheel:
The motor also was fitted with a rebuilt, reconditioned chain wheel with new bearings and rubber cush drive rubbers.

Chains:
The OEM Honda primary chains (RK) were cryogenically treated to add approx four times the longevity. The cam chain is a Japanese EK. To make the EK chain even better, they have been cryogenically treated too.
Honda OEM primary tensioner is installed.

Misc. "O" rings, oil seals, knock pins and hardware were included.
