          Street fighter motors

Cycle X motors have had a “ cult “ following for years. Their durability, horsepower and up grades in technology are able to run 24 hours a day.


 
StreetFighter Package # 2: 
Parts:
836cc piston kit
Heavy-duty valve springs
Racing top valve spring collars
Camshaft
Amco 45 valve guides
Exhaust valves
Intake valves
Heavy-duty cylinder studs
Heavy-duty cam chain
All cam chain rollers and slider
Connecting rod bearings
Main crankshaft bearings
Oil seal kit
Primary chains
Heavy-duty clutch plates
Heavy-duty clutch springs
Complete gasket set
Late model alternator rotor or lightened rotor.
Chrome Allen screws (engine covers)
All of the above-mentioned parts are the highest level in quality. 

Labor:
Completely disassemble the motor for cleaning and inspection.
Remove connecting rods and inspect all crankshaft journals.
Micro polish crankshaft and clean.
Plastic gauge all crankshaft journals and install rod and main bearings as necessary.
Remove cylinder studs.
Surface case cylinder deck and install heavy-duty cylinder studs.
Blast cylinder and inspect.
Surface cylinder deck.
Bore and hone to 836cc.
Disassemble cylinder head for inspection.
Blast cylinder head and surface both sides of the head.
Clean up ports as necessary.
Install Amco 45 valve guides and ream.
Multi-angle valve job.
Reassemble head with Heavy-duty springs.
Inspect transmission and repair if necessary.
Inspect and repair stripped threads as necessary.
Inspect oil pump and address as necessary.
Clean all components and assemble motor with all new gaskets and seals.
Check charging system components.
Set ignition timing.
And of coarse, 30 plus years of experience and secret tricks of the trade.
Install motor on test stand and fire motor.
Re-adjust valves after several start-ups.
Ultimate head work will be an option ( read below)

StreetFighter Package # 1:

We have done many 836cc motors for the budget minded individual.

These motors have many of the same upgrades mentioned above and feature the “ rock solid” durability and performance as the 
# 2 motor.

The potential to do this  reduced-cost motor clearly depends on the condition of the core motor.

For instance: If your motor has traveled around the planet Earth several times and has never seen an oil change, this would be a questionable core motor.

StreetFighter Package # 3:

  Here is the ultimate mid size power plant. Years of testing have allowed us to offer this High-level, High horsepower and rock solid combo. The # 3 motor package has a wide range power band at all RPM”S. This is not a race motor that needs to be revved to over 10,000 rpm to make power.

Our cylinder head porting technique is the perfect combination of street & race.
Our process duplicates or blueprints the original airflow and refines it for unbeatable torque and horsepower for your street fighter motor. The same process is done to your Cycle X carburetor manifolds (if used) 

Lightest pistons in the industry along with the highest-level quality are installed. The boring and honing process is done with torque plates. This process simulates the motor assembled so the bore is perfect.

Due to the high horsepower potential of this motor, state of art connecting rods are installed.

Transmission gears are undercut to insure you are locked in gear when accelerating and shifting gears hard.

Crankshaft is lightened and balanced more than the --# 2-- motor package.

Alternator is also lightened to the maximum.

HONDA SOHC MOUNTAIN MOTORS:
1061cc motor package for serious riders only. These motors in a lightweight chassis will guarantee you a victory against all challengers. These motors will provide approximately 130 plus horsepower at the rear wheel.

Kit includes:
Lightweight super-crank
State of the art connecting rods
1061cc big bore kit (complete)
Lightened alternator
Race clutch kit
Chrome moly cylinder studs
Race valves (intake and exhaust)

These motors  take approx 6 month's to build. We recommend using later year motors (77-78 are good)
These motors are built with modern technology and better than years ago.

 Note:

High-powered ignitions are recommended (read tech and electrical sections).

We prefer the ½ inch ID oil lines to insure your motor is happy.

The highest-level oils are always a plus.

Premium Shell fuel has been rated #1 (get it while you can)

Now that you have a powerful happy motor, change gear ratios so you can optimize your power increases.

We feel most people drive their motorcycles normally, cruising around and enjoying the scenery. Our motors give you opportunity to fight off the most determined competitors or pass traffic with ease.

If you want to go faster yet, we have a few more tricks up our sleeves for you.

We now have an exchange program that allows you to send us your old cylinder and in return get a bored and honed 836cc.

 The cylinder you will receive back will:

1.)  Have the old gasket material removed. (Removing gaskets are a pain.)
2.)  Bead blasted. (Ready for paint or ?)
3.)  Top of the cylinder is resurfaced. (Most top surfaces are not flat.)

Note:
This is a exchange program so only usable cylinders are welcome.
Cylinders are bored and shelved, the honing process takes place when the pistons are selected . (Variances in pistons.)
Early, late and F2 cylinders will be stocked.
