This 1975 Honda cb750 was saved from being parted out on Ebay.

Here's the story: 
The previous owner (Pete) devoted 4 years of his life to build this Honda cb750 and sourced the best ideas and parts he could find.
When he took it for its maiden voyage .... the motor malfunctioned. Pete was so distraught he was going to either part the bike out or sell to us.

Special fabrication:
Dished gas tank with flush mounted gas cap installed.
The top triple tree was welded to eliminate the handle bar holes. The tree was then smooth-out and re-chromed.
We talked to Pete to see if he could estimate the amount of time spend with all the mounting and fabrication work needed to be done to build a high level custom motorcycle. He couldn't even begin to estimate the amount of time spent.
To be fair ........... Lets give Pete $10 bucks an hour @ 200 hours...................... 2000.00
